Outside from fall, spring was one of Jack’s favorite seasons. Class es were over, and it was a lovely day for a Friday afternoon. Grades were a future Jack problem. Right now, he just wanted fresh air. He inhaled and exhaled before pulling out a book, his long legs stretched out relaxed in front of him.

After a rather intense class, Enid was glad to be able to go out and relax. Even she got tired from classes, not just her students. Her body ached a little and she was looking forward to a relaxing bath later in the evening. For now, she'd take some fresh air and a nice walk.
As she strolled, she noticed a familiar person sitting out on the grounds. She knew she should probably interact more with the other teachers. She was often told that she needed to make more friends. She stood there for a moment, awkwardly debating in her head and staring (on accident). Eventually, she approached Jack. "Good book?" She asked just as awkwardly as she stood.

A flip of a page, and Jack was engrossed. How was Tony to decide between the call of Ultima’s medicine and his parents’ turmoil? But then he was back on the grounds as the chapter ended. As he came back to, he recognized the young woman. A fellow teacher, but one who preferred solace as opposed to his more social co workers. “Si.” He shook his head, bones literally rattling, “I mean yes. Sorry, habit to slip into the mother tongue every once in a while.”
