“Who I’ve met, hm?” Dorothea reached for the Parmesan packets and began playing idly with one as she contemplated. It wouldn’t be anyone that Spike would go out of his way to interact with. “They’re all people you probably wouldn’t chat with. My roommate Katara, one of those bookworms we were talking fondly about. Then there was Bella. Such a sweet voice, but her confidence could definitely use a boost.”

Dorothea had a point. A bookworm and a wallflower usually weren't people Spike talked to. But, there was always a first for everything. "Maybe they should unwind sometime too," he said while idly playing with the straw in his cup of soda. "You only live once, right?" That always filled Spike with dread, that he would be stuck in a career that his parents chose for him. More than anything, he wanted to be taken seriously if he brought up other options. But as far as he was concerned, his fate was set and there was nothing he could do about it.

Dorothea smiled and fluffed her brown hair with the hand not holding her pizza slice. "Or maybe their way of unwinding is more, you, know, introverted." She remembered walking by Zelda and Namine's room and smiling at them just content with books. "I think you and I have that you live only once thing in common. Living life one way gets boring." It was one of the many things she loved about theatre; constant change. One show she could be the ingeunue, the other she was ensemble. It always changed. Sure, some stuff stayed the same, but it small changes that mattered.
As she was about to ask Spike another basic icebreaker question, the door to Speedy's opened.
