Amongst the dusty expanse of shelves, Milo weaved his way through them with a duster and his cart. ‘Just get through it,’ he thought, ‘then maybe I can relax’. He was very aware of the carnival that was going on down by the pier but he felt like doing a bit of spring cleaning while everyone was out was a good idea. There would still be time when he was done to join in the festivities. So there he was, dusting shelves and reorganizing books…the problem was when a book caught his attention he would have to fight the urge to read it… well taking a short break couldn’t hurt. So there he was, with his duster and cart reading ‘20,000 Leagues Under the Sea’, unaware if anyone else was around him…

While some of Pocahontas's students were surprised at some of the lessons biology had to offer, there was one infamous one that they either looked forward to with excitement or disgust: dissection. Yes, it was the time of year when Pocahontas the the stereotypical "dissecting a frog" lesson. Poking around in an animal's innards wasn't exactly her idea of a good time, but it was important to understand how bodies worked and what they looked like on the inside. Even though superheroes' bodies could be vastly different from each other, knowing how they worked was important for figuring out how they reacted to their powers and what crazy stunts could possibly cause them harm. Pocahontas liked using a particular book from the library for this lesson: the diagrams were helpful and the vocabulary was easy for students to understand, assuming they'd been paying attention in class before-hand. With a lot of students out attending the carnival that was in town, the library was more quiet than usual when she headed inside. She could find her way to the science section in her sleep, but paused when she saw the librarian, Milo, engrossed in a book, and a classic at that. "Catching up on some reading?" she joked.
