Maria gave a shaky nod, she was trying very hard to put on a brave front for the boy in front of her. She was not okay, not by a long shot. Her heartbeat was practically echoing in her ears. Her hands wouldn't stop shaking as she healed wounds. They needed more help. Why couldn't she be smarter or quicker? Was her father right? Was this a bad idea? All her ideas of being a good hero like her mother, all were starting to disappear. "
Ah..I am not sure what more we could do. I mean unless we..cased it in hard rock or something that it couldn't break out of."

Caspar winced but looked over at the crater they made. The pain was drifting away after her healing. He took a deep breath. It already felt better. He sat up a bit straighter and flexed his arm, testing the tenderness he felt there. Still sore, but it was more like he had worked out too much. His shattered knuckles were already mended, though the blood stains lingered from the sealed up wounds.
"I don't think he's getting up any time soon." he said. "But you! You're a healer? That's amazing!"

Maria blinked in shock and then her cheeks felt hot. "Oh, well, um, thank you." she tried her best to not look too flustered by his upbeat compliment. "I am glad that I am able to help you and others with it." she admitted, relieved that there hadn't been too many injuries in this encounter with the monster. "Though, I think your power was much more impressive."
She had never seen someone able to create craters, or hold their own against a giant like that. Anytime the two clashed, Maria could almost feel the vibrations even after all of it happened. "You really um..put him in his place." Was she using that phrase correctly? "Are you alright though, my ability only really works on smaller injuries and internal injuries might take a lot longer to heal."

"I'll go see a doctor," he assured her with a smile.
He slowly sat up before trying to bring himself to his feet. His knuckles throbbed. Maybe a broken bone from punching a pure rock being. He took a deep breath, trying to account for any additional injuries he might have had. His ribs felt tender from the gut punch, hopefully not broken. He didn't feel internal bleeding, but was that something he would feel? He just felt like he had gone through an intense work out. Shaking that thought aside, he needed to focus. There were still civilians, though thankfully far, far away from the crater site. He offered the girl his hand to help her back to her feet.
"My name is Caspar von Bergliez. I have super strength."
Though, his power was pretty obvious since the stone golem being was cracked and fractured as if it went up against a jack hammer and lost.

Maria gave a small chuckle, it seemed obvious about the whole thing, super strength was the only thing that could go face to face wit that monster but it suited the blue haired boy to a T. "Maria Campbell." she said with a warm gentle smile. "Uh, my powers are healing as you've seen and force fields, though those are still a thing I am working on."
She glanced around the area, it seemed like some civilians were starting to come back out of their hiding spots though she worried that it might be too much for them. "It is nice to meet you Caspar, I am glad you were around.."

"Yeah! Me too! I was just here for a coffee..."
He looked down at his clothes. Stained. Blood. A bit of coffee. Dust from the shattered stone and rock. Paint chips from shattered bits of aluminum. He tried to dust himself off.
"Wonder what this guy was doing here in the first place..."
They were lucky that the golem hadn't grabbed a hostage. Then Caspar would have been put into a real predicament. It's hard for him to let loose and beat anything up when a hostage was involved.
"You aren't hurt are you?"

Maria shook her head, her gaze went back to the coffee shop. A knot in her chest. The poor shop owners were going to have to work so hard to get the shop back in relatively good shape but at least they weren't hurt at all. She hoped no one had gotten too badly injured and it was only the shop that had.
"Oh, no I am fine, thank you." she said "Just in shock this happened. But I suppose I should start getting used to this sort of situation if I am going to be a hero."

"Why don't you go check if anyone needs any help?" Caspar offered. "I'll check to see if there's another one."
He certainly hoped not. His sore body (while mended) might not be able to take another slug fest with another cinderblock. Scanning around the area, he didn't see any. No one was running or screaming, but he was sure a lot of people were shaken up from the sudden attack. The cinderblock seemed to appear from nowhere. Really made Caspar wonder how he got there without setting off mass hysteria to do so.

Maria was relieved that she was able to check with other people. She had seen so many people in the shop that her heart would be torn if anyone would have gotten severely injured or worse. "If you need me, just shout and I'll be there as quick as I can." she said as confident as she could.

Caspar smiled, clasping a hand lightly to her shoulder. As lightly as he could since he was afraid he might hurt her. Sometimes, his strength acted out against him. Thankfully, he had tired himself out. She was in no danger of broken bones. Or harm from him. Truly, he was absolutely grateful for her.
"You're going to do great. Just don't over exert yourself. I'm sure the police are on their way."
With a glance over his shoulder, he could hear the sirens. He only hoped they wouldn't be too mad about the damages to the cafe's exterior. He really had let himself go, but in his eyes, the property damage was worth it since he had been the one to take the brunt of the beating.
