“Aiming? With what exactly?”
That could mean so many things that it was hard to say which one Albedo meant. It was only narrowed down to weaponry. Was Claude a cyborg? Did her shoot lasers out of his eyes? Zelda’s mind was swimming with all of the possibilities.

"A bow and arrow. We were going to run experiments with throwing things but... I got distracted," Albedo confessed.
He had completely neglected his roommate. Distracted by his own research and generally delving deeper into the library than socializing with his other peers his age. His father would have been disappointed in him. He had wanted Albedo to make friends. Albedo wasn't entirely sure he could say he had done that. He was closer to Zelda but she might not agree with his assessment.

"I see. Not often a weapon one brings or chooses to master. It takes years of discipline," Zelda mused.
Albedo may not have been the social type, but she could tell that he took notes on the things of people he deemed interesting to heart. He had noted his roommate's skill so much that he wanted to experiment with it. Some could consider that weird, but Zelda had understanding; it was how Albedo made connections that weren't particularly social ones. It was how detectives figured out crimes, just from mannerisms or tiny details, but this time it wasn't to catch a villain. It was for simple fun.

"I recommended we try darts to see if the ability of his translated to other objects. A higher sense of accuracy is a very interesting ability," Albedo reasoned.
There had been so many things he had been curious about in regards to Claude's abilities. However, there were only so many hours in a day. He had needed to work on the ice cream machine while there had been an interest in ice cream. Those profits would fund the rest of his experiments. Now he had to backpay Zelda to assure that she would continue to act as his soundboard for future projects. Which he would happily do since she had excellent ideas.
"What about your roommate?"

Zelda smiled. Not just at the thought of Albedo writing down equations with darts, but the memories she had already made with her own roommate. “Namine and I get along swimmingly. She’s an incredible artist. A bit shy, but I let her come to me as opposed to sudden socializing. Afterwards, we both found out we have much in common.” Rich upbringings, absentee family…they truly were cut from the same cloth. It didn’t help that Dorothea teased them about looking alike as well.

"I see..."
He didn't exactly spend a lot of time with his roommate. The guy was nice. He thought Albedo was funny for putting rocket boots on cats. But he was just trying to see what it would take to make a quadrupedal creature fly. As there were heroes who walked on all fours. He should be happy she was getting along with her roommates, but he felt strange knowing she didn't rely on him perhaps as much as he relied on her.

“I better go see if the wall hasn’t eaten her. Not literally of course.” This was a school not set up by booby traps, but she couldn’t be too sure. A small part of her also felt guilty for socializing with Albedo when she should be talking with others. There was a book on her Slate that she hadn’t even touched. Reading that would be a good unwinding from all of this. She adjusted her skirts one last time and gave Albedo a small but assured smile. “It really was nice seeing you and talking about other things.” Having said her piece, she drifted towards the wall, praying her shy roommate hadn’t been scared off. ((End thread))
